ICBA is proud to share that Chris Gardner, ICBA President and CEO, and Mike Davis, ICBA Regional Vice President, have been awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of their outstanding contributions to philanthropy and community service in Canada.
This prestigious honour celebrates individuals who have made a significant impact in their communities. For Chris and Mike, this recognition reflects ICBA’s leadership in championing mental wellness for construction professionals, an industry where too many workers struggle in silence. Through initiatives like ICBA Wellness (www.icba.ca/wellness) and our mental health training programs, they have helped drive meaningful change, ensuring workers have access to the resources and support they need.
Chris received his medal in the historic Fort Langley Community Hall, presented by Langley MP Tako van Popta—a fitting location, as Chris graduated from Langley Secondary School.
Mike was recognized in Prince George, with Cariboo-Prince George MP Todd Doherty presenting the medal. He shared the stage with legendary Montreal Canadiens and Team Canada goaltender Carey Price, another significant champion for breaking the stigma around mental health.
Congratulations, Chris and Mike!
