Ipsos just put out a global poll, looking at health concerns around the world, and mental health is now the number one concern globally, with Canada ranking among the top countries expressing this worry.
Specifically, 61% of Canadians identify mental health as one of the most pressing health problems facing our country. Not great.
For B.C. construction company leaders, this funding underscores the importance of addressing mental wellness within their workforce, especially given our industry’s unique challenges and stressors. Prioritizing mental health can not only foster a healthier work environment but also enhance productivity and employee retention.
It all starts with a conversation and building a culture that pushes back against the stigma of mental health.
