Hydro lays out contract changes

BC Hydro is travelling the province to connect construction contractors with the company’s new construction contract launched earlier this year.

Hot off a session held today in Prince George, the Crown corporation is making the presentation from the session available for attendees and anyone interested in the new contract regime.

ICBA was one of the construction association that worked with BC Hydro over the past year to review and revise the company’s construction contract.  The focus of this work is to make it easier for BC Hydro stakeholders to work with the construction document, and to make it easier for contractors to bid on opportunities.

The sessions also outlined those opportunities that will come up under Hydro’s multi-billion capital plans over the coming years.
