Back in February we told you about the pending launch of a new online permit service by the BC Safety Authority.
MyConnection is BC Safety Authority’s new online service that will allow contractors to tackle a wide range of permitting tasks online, including purchasing installation and operating permits, viewing their permits, certificates and licences, and renewing operating permits.
Electrical and gas contractors who had a BC OnLine account can access the system now, but if you do not have an existing BC OnLine account, your access to BCSA’s MyConnection will be available beginning on July 4. This is a later date than previously announced.
Although access to MyConnection is currently limited to BC OnLine clients, all gas and electrical contractors are welcome to register for a MyConnection account in advance and BC Safety Authority they will send an email notification when you can begin using the service.

BC Safety Authority is also offering training on MyConnection. Currently, these webinar training sessions are only for BC OnLine users but closer to July 4, sessions will be made available for all other users.
